All in for Kids

Northshore Schools Foundation Lunch

Dear TMS Parents-

I would like to personally invite you to join me at the Northshore Schools Foundation’s All In for Kids Luncheon scheduled Thursday, April 4, 2019 11:30 am-1:00 pm. I would love to host a table of Timbercrest Middle School Parents who support NSD schools. This year’s theme, Northshore Gives, is a tribute to our collective efforts to decrease the opportunity gap for our students. With your help, the Foundation amplifies the districts core curriculum by funding projects that inspire student learning, increase creativity and impact life long success.

For those of you who do not know,  Northshore Schools Foundation does AMAZING things around the Northshore district,  including providing generous grants to Timbercrest last year for Mrs. Juenger’s “Green Team” and this year for a new CNC machine for Mr. Wilcox’s Tech Ed/CAD classes.

The event is being held at: Evergreen Church 3429 240th St SE, Bothell, WA 98021 located just 2 blocks from the administrative offices of Northshore School District. Carpooling is always encouraged.

The lunch event will feature student performances, teacher testimony and an address by Superintendent Dr. Michelle Reid. Hopefully this event will leave you inspired about the future of the next generation and connected with other stakeholders who share your commitment to being a part of a vibrant healthy community.

Between the breakfast and lunch events, you’re invited to witness some of the amazing things that happen thanks to your support. Students will be performing and presenting projects funded with contributions from Foundation donors just like you, which would not otherwise be possible!

Attending the event is free, however there is a suggested Donation of $125.00+ per person with an overall goal of raising $300,000. I hope that you will consider this opportunity and that you will join me at my luncheon table.

You can Register yourself here https://allinforkids19lunch.eventbrite.com – or to make it super EASY, you can let me know and I will register you and meet you that day with your name tag and show you to our table. Please reply by March 22nd.

Thanks so much,

Kelly Locke (mj.kj.locke@comcast.net)

PTSA Nominating Committee

The TMS PTSA is looking for two volunteers to fill out the Nominating Committee–specifically from the Cottage Lake and Sunrise feeder pattern.

Duties of the nominating committee:

The charge of the nominating committee is to recognize and recruit the most qualified people available for elected PTA positions as defined by the local PTA–President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer. Committee work includes holding confidential meetings, reviewing nominations, interviewing candidates, and searching for the best qualified candidates. The nominating committee is not charged with filling the non-elected positions on the PTA board of directors. When their work is complete, this committee provides a written report to the membership that names qualified nominees for the elected positions on the PTA board of directors

If you are interested in serving on the Nominating Committee or have questions, please email Brooke Jones, the realbrookejones@gmail.com
